KHETFUND Mourns the Passing of Hon. Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji
On behalf of the Management and entire staff of Kano State Health Trust Fund (KHETFUND), I, Dr. Fatima Usman Zahraddeen, wish to expressed my deep sorrow over the passing of the two members of the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Aminu Sa'ad (representing Ungogo Constituency) and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji (representing Kano Municipal) who tragically died on Wednesday 24th December 2025.
Undoubtedly, these deaths are painfully and deeply felt across the state. As such, I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathies to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Jibril Isma'il Falgore, and the Emir of Kano Malam Muhammad Sanusi II.
The deceased lawmakers were dedicated public servants who contributed meaningfully to the growth and development of the state.
The demise of these honorable members is a profound loss not only to their families and constituents, but to Kano State as a whole. They served with commitment and integrity, and their contributions to legislative development will be remembered.
I prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and to give their families, colleagues, and the people of Kano State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
I finally wish to reaffirm KHETFUND’s solidarity with the government and people of Kano State during this period of mourning, emphasizing the importance of unity, compassion, and prayers in honoring the memories of the departed lawmakers.
