Rarara Degree Is Fake; European-American University Disowns Nigerian Musician
The European-American University has issued a disclaimer on an honorary doctorate degree awarded to ace musician, Dauda Rarara, saying the award was not authorised by the university.
In a ceremony attended by dignitaries including the governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja on Saturday, Mr Rarara was conferred with the honorary degree by the some individuals who paraded themselves as representatives of the university.
But in a statement published on the university’s website, the institution also disowned both Mr Rarara and the officials who paraded themselves as representatives of the university.
