Commissioner Waiya Felicitates Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on His Birthday
The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the birthday of Senator (Dr.) Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, FNSE, describing him as a visionary leader, true statesman, and one of the most admired political heroes in Northern Nigeria and the country at large.
In a statement personally signed by the Commissioner, Waiya expressed his heartfelt felicitation to the national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), noting that Kwankwaso’s legacy continues to shape Nigeria’s political and developmental landscape.
He said Senator Kwankwaso’s leadership and transformational achievements—particularly during his tenure as the two-term Governor of Kano State—remain unparalleled, citing landmark infrastructure projects, economic empowerment initiatives, and educational reforms that opened doors of opportunity for thousands of youths across the country.
According to Waiya, the former Minister of Defence has built people and institutions through a political ideology rooted in selfless service, discipline, and compassion for the common man.
“Your unmatched record as a two-term governor, Minister of Defence, and national leader continues to inspire our generation. You have institutionalized a political ideology that promotes mentorship, empowerment, and service to humanity,” the statement reads.
While expressing his personal gratitude, the Commissioner acknowledged Kwankwaso’s unwavering support, mentorship, and belief in the capacity of young people to drive positive change in governance and development.
“As a proud appointee serving in the government you have fathered and nurtured, I remain deeply grateful for your encouragement and leadership,” Waiya added.
He prayed for Allah’s continued blessings upon Senator Kwankwaso, asking for good health, wisdom, and strength to continue serving humanity and the nation.
