AG Maude, SAN, Expresses Profound Grief Over the Loss of Two Kano Assembly Lawmakers
The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Kano State, Hon. Abdulkarim Kabiru Maude, SAN, has received with deep grief and profound sadness the passing of two distinguished members of the Kano State House of Assembly, Honourable Sarki Aliyu Daneji, Member representing Kano Municipal Constituency, and Honourable Aminu Sa’adu Ungogo, Member representing Ungogo Local Government Area.
On behalf of the Ministry of Justice, Kano State, the Honourable Attorney-General expresses his heartfelt sympathy and solemn commiseration to the families of the deceased lawmakers, their constituents, and the entire people of Kano State over this painful and irreparable loss.
Hon. Abdulkarim Kabiru Maude, SAN, further conveys his deep sense of sympathy to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Speaker and Honourable Members of the Kano State House of Assembly, as well as the Jagoran Kwankwasiyya, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, over the demise of these dedicated legislators whose passing has created a significant void in the legislative arm of government.
The late Honourable members were devoted public servants whose commitment to legislative duties, democratic values, and public service greatly contributed to the growth and development of Kano State. Their loss is profoundly felt not only by their immediate families and colleagues, but by the entire state they served with honour and distinction.
The Attorney-General prays that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants the departed souls eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and gives their families, colleagues, and the good people of Kano State the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss.
