COMMISSIONER SAGAGI MOURNS THE PASSING OF TWO KANO LAWMAKERS
The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Investment, Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Alhaji Gwani Shehu Wada Sagagi, has expressed deep shock and sadness over the demise of two members of the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji and Hon. Aminu Sa’ad Ungoggo, who passed away yesterday.
Commissioner Sagagi described their deaths as a monumental loss not only to their families and constituencies, but also to the entire Kano State.
He noted that the late lawmakers were hardworking, dedicated, and committed legislators who discharged their duties with diligence and integrity, adding that they were influential and sensitive political figures whose contributions to democratic governance would be greatly missed.
According to him, the demise of the two legislators has created a vacuum that will be extremely difficult to fill.
The Commissioner, on behalf of the Ministry of Investment, Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, the Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Honourable Members of the House, and the entire people of Kano State over the great loss.
He prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus, and give their families, loved ones, and the people of Kano State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
