Kano Ministry of Information Mourns the Passing of Two Members of the Kano State House of Assembly
The Kano State Ministry of Information and Internal Affairs, under the leadership of Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has received deep shock and profound sadness, the tragic passing of two Honourable Members of the Kano State House of Assembly, late Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, member representing Kano Municipal Constituency, and late Hon. Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo, representing Ungogo Constituency.
In a condolence message, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, described the demise of the two lawmakers as a great loss to Kano State, the Kano State House of Assembly, and the people of their respective constituencies whom they served with dedication, humility and commitment.
Comrade Waiya noted that the late legislators were outstanding representatives who contributed meaningfully to democratic governance and best legislative practices in Kano State, adding that their absence would be deeply felt by colleagues, constituents, the Kwankwasiyya family and all other political class.
The Commissioner, on behalf of the ministry extends heartfelt condolences to the leader of Kwankwasiyya Movement, Sen. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Deputy Governor, HE Comrade Aminu Abdussalam and the Rt. Hon. Speaker, and Members of the Kano State House of Assembly, the Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, the bereaved families, political associates, and the entire people of Kano State.
He prayed that, may Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive the shortcomings of the departed souls, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus, and bestow patience, strength, and fortitude upon their families, loved ones, and colleagues to bear the irreparable loss.
May their gentle souls rest in perfect peace.
