The Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs of Kano State, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, paid a courtesy visit to the office of Katsina indigenes residing in Kano. During the visit, Commissioner Waiya emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between the Kano State Government and the Katsina community, assuring them that the doors of the government remain open for hearing their grievances and suggestions at all times.
He further stated, "Whenever I approach Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf with any request, he ensures that any public complaint is addressed swiftly, demonstrating his commitment to resolving issues and bettering the lives of the people. The Governor is always attentive to the needs of the community, working tirelessly to wipe away their tears."
The Katsina residents in Kano expressed their satisfaction with the initiatives and positive developments brought by the Abba Kabir Yusuf administration, particularly in the areas of security and economic improvement. They commended the government's efforts to create a conducive environment for business and reduce the community's fears.
In recognition of his efforts, the Katsina indigenes presented Commissioner Waiya with a gift of the Holy Qur'an and a Praying Mat as a token of appreciation for his continuous support and commitment to listening to their concerns.
