The Chairman of the Kano State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KASAA), Comrade Kabir Dakata, today paid a courtesy and strategic visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Alhaji Mohammed Tajo Othman Zaura.
The meeting, held at the Ministry’s headquarters, aimed at strengthening the synergy between KASAA and the Local Government Ministry, particularly in enhancing revenue generation and improving signage regulations across the 44 local government areas of Kano State.
During the engagement, Comrade Dakata expressed his appreciation for the support received from the Ministry and emphasized the need for continued cooperation to ensure that all advertisement and signage activities within local government jurisdictions comply with regulatory standards.
On his part, Commissioner Zaura reaffirmed the Ministry’s readiness to support KASAA’s vision of becoming one of the top-performing revenue-generating agencies in the state. He also pledged to work closely with local government chairmen to ensure the agency's policies are fully implemented at the grassroots level.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to deepen institutional collaboration and to conduct joint monitoring and sensitization campaigns in the coming months.
