HC Mourns Deceased Members of KSHA
The Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, on behalf of the Ministry and its management team, has extended heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Honourable Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, over the painful demise of two distinguished members of the Kano State House of
Assembly.
The deceased lawmakers are Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, Member representing Kano Municipal Council (KMC), and Hon. Aminu Sa’ad Ungoggo, Member representing Ungoggo Local Government Area.
Dr. Labaran Yusuf described their deaths as a monumental loss not only to their immediate families and constituents, but also to the Kano State Government and the nation at large, in view of their selfless service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to legislative responsibilities and democratic governance.
He noted that the late legislators contributed immensely to the growth of democracy in Kano State through their active participation in lawmaking and oversight functions.
The Honourable Commissioner prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants the deceased eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, forgives their shortcomings, and grants their families, the Kano State Government, and the Kano State House of Assembly the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
The Ministry of Health assured the Kano State Government and the House of Assembly of its deepest sympathy and solidarity during this moment of grief.
