CP Balarabe Sule (Rtd) Congratulates Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf on Joining APC, Describes Move as Patriotic and Visionary
Kano, February 4, 2026 — Retired Commissioner of Police, CP Balarabe Sule (Rtd), Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta of Gaya Emirate Council, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, on his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the move as timely, patriotic, and visionary.
In a congratulatory statement issued on Tuesday, CP Sule said the Governor’s decision reflects his deep love for Kano State and his unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and sustainable development.
According to him, Kano stands to benefit immensely from this historic political realignment, particularly in infrastructure development, economic growth, healthcare delivery, and security, through stronger collaboration with the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
CP Sule noted that the Governor’s move aligns perfectly with the Kano First Agenda, as it opens wider opportunities for federal support, strategic investments, and enhanced security architecture aimed at protecting lives and property across the state.
He assured Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of his total support and cooperation, pledging to work with relevant stakeholders to strengthen security, promote peace, and ensure the successful implementation of development policies that will improve the welfare of Kano residents.
The former Police Commissioner also commended key APC leaders and stakeholders who played vital roles in facilitating the political realignment. He specifically praised Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Senator Barau Jibrin, Hon. A.T.M. Gwarzo, Hon. Minister Ata, Hon. Mariya Bunkure, Hon. A.A. Zaura, Hon.
