KASA and KIRS Chart New Path for Strategic Revenue Collaboration
The Chairman of the Kano State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KASA), Comrade Kabir Dakata, held his first official strategic meeting with the Executive Chairman of the Kano State Internal Revenue Service (KIRS), Dr. Zaid Abubakar, at the KIRS headquarters in Kano.
The landmark meeting centered on building a strong inter-agency collaboration that will reposition KASA as one of the top revenue-generating bodies in the state by the year 2026, Insha Allah.
During the deliberation, both Chairmen expressed a shared vision for transparent, efficient, and innovative revenue mobilization. Comrade Dakata emphasized KASA’s commitment to reforming its operations, boosting compliance, and aligning with the fiscal goals of the Kano State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
On his part, Dr. Abubakar welcomed the synergy, pledging KIRS's full technical support to help KASA strengthen its billing systems, enforcement structures, and digital frameworks in line with international best practices.
The meeting marks a critical step toward institutional cooperation and sustainable revenue growth in Kano State.
