AMINA HOD JOINS APC, ALIGNS WITH GOVERNOR YUSUF'S PROGRESSIVE LEADERSHIP IN KANO
The Kano State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Children and persons with special Needs, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani (HOD), has joined the APC and the league of progressive Commissioners under the stewardship of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Amina HOD, who is one of the pillars of the Kwankwasiyya grassroots movement, is known for her strong principles and ideological convictions. She has now aligned with the “Kano First” ideology to ensure the speedy development of our state and promote peaceful coexistence.
As the reality of Kano’s political transformation continues to gain wide and steady acceptance, following the decisive resolve of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to turn things around for the progress and development of the people of Kano, this development has set the pace for another defining and historic moment in the political governance of the state. It has also reawakened the political consciousness of the people, who are now choosing between the collective destiny of Kano and the interests of a few individuals.
This movement is not only real but also practical, as the people of Kano have chosen to take their political destiny into their own hands, serving as a vehicle for positive change that will reposition Kano among the comity of states and push it toward its rightful place politically, economically, and socially. This wave of paradigm shift, championed by the patriotic Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf who can best be described as a game changer and a committed servant of the people is driven by his firm belief in the development of our dear state.
The facts are now clear and settled. Commissioners in charge of the most strategic and critical ministries of government have registered their total loyalty to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and have expressed their willingness and commitment to remain firmly with him.
Critics should be reminded that power is not lost when key institutions remain steadily committed to development transformation.
Equally, control is not lost when the engine rooms of the government are firmly alive, and responsive to governance, not allowing the room for any political shenanigans.
Government is running effectively. Policies are being formulated and implemented, projects are ongoing, the bureaucracy is at its peak, and the cabinet remains functional as the highest policy-making and decision body with more than 85% onboard, this is of course what and where it matters most.
Those still living in denial of the new political reality in Kano should understand that they are being misled by sensational and emotional headlines designed to attract sympathy. The political drama displayed by some mischievous elements to provoke commentary cannot change the reality on the ground. The Kano State Government will continue to remain focused, working within established governance structures and the rule of law, while strengthening synergy among the three arms of democratic governance under the stewardship of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
This administration will continue to serve the people of Kano with diligence and will not entertain distractions. It will neither be weak nor compelled to compromise the mandate given by the good people of Kano State.
The Governor has been managing the affairs of the state effectively and strategically. The sooner critics align themselves with this reality, the better for them, as the journey ahead is transformative, progressive, and in the overall interest of all Kano citizens.
